Support/Getting Started

Getting started with BookOrielle

From sign-up to first booking in 7 steps. Most businesses are fully set up in under 15 minutes.

1

Create your partner account

Go to the partner sign-up page and fill in your name, email address, and a password. You will receive a 6-digit verification code at the email you entered. Type it in to confirm your account.

You can also sign up using Google if you prefer not to create a separate password.

Use the email address you want customers to see when they receive booking confirmations and reminders. You can change it later in Settings.
2

Complete your business profile

During signup, you will enter your business name, select a business type (salon, spa, barbershop, etc.), and provide your business address. The address field uses Google Places autocomplete to help you fill it in quickly.

After signup, go to Settings in your portal to upload your logo, write a description, and fine-tune your profile. This is what customers see on your public booking page.

A complete profile with a logo and description builds trust. Businesses with photos get significantly more bookings.
3

Set your hours of operation

The signup flow lets you set your initial weekly hours. After that, go to Hours in your portal to edit them anytime. You can set different hours for each day of the week, add break times, and block off specific dates for holidays or vacations.

If you have staff members, each person can have their own schedule that overrides the business hours. This is useful when team members work different shifts.

4

Add your services

Go to Services in your portal and click Add Service. For each service, set:

  • A name (e.g., “Classic Manicure”)
  • A price (e.g., $45.00)
  • A duration (e.g., 60 minutes)
  • A category (Hair, Nails, Massage, Facials, etc.)
  • An optional buffer time between appointments for prep or cleanup
  • An optional deposit amount (Gold plan only)
On the Free plan, you can create up to 5 services and have 1 staff member. The Gold plan removes both limits. The system enforces these limits on both the portal UI and the API.
5

Add staff members (optional)

If you work solo, you can skip this step. Your account is already set up as the owner. If you have a team, go to Staff and click Add Staff.

For each staff member, provide their name and assign a role:

  • Owner has full access to everything
  • Manager can manage bookings, staff, and services
  • Staff can view their own bookings and schedule
  • Front Desk can check in clients and manage the calendar

Then assign which services each person can perform and set their individual availability if it differs from business hours.

On the Gold plan, the base price of $29.99/mo includes 1 staff member. Each additional active staff member is $14.99/mo. Billing adjusts automatically as you add or remove staff.
6

Connect Stripe to accept payments

Go to Billingin your portal. You will see a prompt to connect with Stripe. Click it and follow Stripe’s onboarding flow to verify your identity and connect a bank account.

This is a one-time process. Stripe handles all security and PCI compliance. Your banking details are never stored on BookOrielle’s servers.

You must complete Stripe Connect onboarding before you can accept payments. Without it, customers cannot pay for bookings and your booking page will not accept payment.
7

Share your booking link

Every business gets a unique booking page at bookorielle.com/b/your-business-name. Go to Booking Link in your portal to find your URL, download a QR code, and copy embed code for your website.

Share your link on:

  • Your Instagram bio or Facebook page
  • Your website (as a link or embedded widget, Gold plan)
  • Business cards (with the QR code)
  • Text messages to existing clients
Gold plan businesses can use the embeddable booking widget to let customers book directly from their own website without leaving the page.

What happens next?

When a customer books through your link, you will see it on your dashboard and calendar. They get a confirmation email with a management link. You get notified too. Payouts happen automatically through Stripe after each completed booking.
