Understanding how money flows through BookOrielle, what fees apply, and when you get paid.
BookOrielle uses a 3-stream pricing model. Every booking involves three separate financial streams:
1. Booking fee
A flat fee charged to the customer at checkout (default $2.50). This fee goes to BookOrielle. The customer sees it as a separate line item during payment.
2. Platform commission
A percentage of the service price deducted from your payout. The rate depends on your plan: 5% on Free, 4.8% on Gold. Enterprise businesses can negotiate custom rates.
3. Stripe processing
Standard Stripe fees of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. This is handled by Stripe automatically and is invisible to both you and the customer.
