Managing bookings
Every booking follows a lifecycle from creation to completion. Here is how each status works and what actions you can take at each stage.
Every booking moves through these statuses:
The booking has been created but not yet confirmed. This is the initial state when a customer submits a booking.
The booking is confirmed. Payment has been processed or a card is on file. The customer has received their confirmation email.
The client has arrived and been checked in. You mark this status when they walk through the door.
The service has started. This tracks actual service time for your records and analytics.
The appointment is done and payment has been collected. The customer can now leave a review.
The booking was cancelled by either the business or the customer. Refunds are handled based on who cancelled and the cancellation policy.
The client did not show up for their appointment. No automatic refund is issued for no-shows.
